Isabel's pain is exacerbated by the fact that both Alex and I have to periodically stop untangling her hair to laugh; that Rosie is laughing at her; and that she did this to herself "to get curly hair".

"I want to dream I am in the park with lots and lots of things that I like, OK?" Then many loud smacks as Izzy kisses her dream catcher.

I started her telling herself what to dream several months ago when she was afraid to sleep because she'd had nightmares, and it's become quite a routine now. No idea if she actually goes on to dream of what she wants but we've not had complaints of nightmares since.
