'My muddy!'
I suspect it's a monkey-see monkey-do thing but Roz has taken a shine to a piece of muslin and calls it 'my muddy'. I asked if someone else at nursery has a muddy too and she said yes and, sure enough, when we rocked up one day, there was Maud with her muddy. O well it's useful for snot and things.
Swan family
They live on the river down the road Roz loves watching them ... unless any creature walks up onto the bank and then she squeals 'It scary! I scary, mummy!' And has ro be wheeled away.

Holiday!
We've found a place to bring you to dad - there are regular boat trips for mackerel, and other fish (bass seems popular as a sport) and you can go fine or coarse fishing in the estuaries too...
Summer harvest
Used up the last of the peas amd broad beans in some fresh pasta with butter and parma ham. The young courgettes and first of the cucumbers were cut up and dipped into bagna cauda. Very satisfying.
