It's been one long stretch of holiday since the end of May, when Ma and Pa (that'd be Alex's parents; mine are Mom and Dad) came to visit and we spent a glorious weekend in the southwest. Since then we've also made a trip home and, just this weekend, a trip to Singapore to see Mama (that'd be the babies' only remaining great-grandparent).
And because this will be about the sixth night in a row I'm up later than I should be, I have to list just these points down, so I don't forget about them. Hopefully I'll elaborate later. If not, maybe they'll at least trigger the right memory some time later.

We're in that awful stretch of holiday that is the last week now. Time to portion out meals and decide who we can manage to see before we go. This one is harder to organise than most as it involves two birthdays and a wedding - and that's not even counting the belated Father's Day celebrations... and failed travel plans for a 60th birthday trip.
